Do you deliver?
Yes Dishes & DeTales provides local delivery up to 30 miles from Houma, LA at no charge. Please inquire about fees beyond 30 miles.
How long is the rental period?
The typical rental period is for three days - the day before through the day following your event. I am flexible and can discuss your particular needs if necessary.
Can I pick up the items myself?
Absolutely! Please keep in mind you will need inside cargo space to transport items. You cannot transport items in the bed of a pick-up truck. You are responsible for the rental items during the rental period, which includes transport time.
What if something breaks?
I understand that accidents happens. Please let me know and pack the broken piece. I request three times the rental price for most items with most pieces being less than $20.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is $50.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes, for orders over $300 I require a 20% deposit to hold your date. This 20% deposit will be put towards your total amount due.
When do you need full payment?
Full payment for items is due the day before delivery or pick up.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, if you cancel 2 weeks or more in advance you will NOT be charged a cancellation fee. However, if you cancel with less than two weeks before your event date, you will not get your deposit back. I understand there can me extenuating circumstances and will be happy to work with you.
What are your payment options?
I currently accept cash, Venmo and Paypal.
Do I have to wash everything myself?
No! That's the beauty of this process. I do the dishes! However, you will need to scrape the dishes, removing food and debris before repacking in the crates. I provide repacking directions when you receive the items.
